A certified training course for youth trainers, designed for both newcomers and experienced facilitators, that focuses on civic engagement and the integration of values, critical thinking, democracy and human‑rights principles into training practice.
Participants start with introductions and reflection on personal values, then connect those to trainer identity and active citizenship. they travel to Barcelona to observe local civic engagement and training practices, including an optional Migrantour in a neighbourhood. The remaining days focus on designing pilot training activities that embed diversity, democracy and human‑rights learning, while also exploring digital tools for competence assessment and certification.
Attendees leave with enhanced competencies in civic engagement, a portfolio of pilot training ideas, and formal recognition through digital Open Badges and a Youthpass certificate. They also gain practical skills in applying democracy and human‑rights principles and using digital platforms for assessment.
Participation fee: 50 EUR participation fee (deducted from travel reimbursement, discount possible).
